Who's in charge? (political)
Something that we found interesting was that Florida had a lot of different courts. They had Family court, District court, Trial court and many more. After finding this out, we were able to understand that Florida had different rules they had to obey by or else they would get in some serious trouble.
What about the money? (economic)
We found a lot of different banks in Florida but the one that stood out the most was the Bank of Florida. This was the state bank. The reason why this bank stood out was because it showed us that Florida had a plan of what you should have done with your money.
What's school? (intellectual)
We have found remains of what seems to be a college. The University of Florida was one of the best schools to go to at the time. It wasn't very easy to get into though; the school turned down thousands of kids every year. This school also seemed to be pretty good at sports also, it was known for it's football team "Gators". After finding out about this school we can tell that Florida took schooling and grades very serious.
What was for fun?(social)
The people of Florida sure did love their theme parks. Studies shows that places like Disney, Busch Gardens, Universal and Sea world were huge tourist attractions. Most people from Florida spent most of their vacations at one of these places. After seeing these deserted parks we were able to conclude that these parks are how people from Florida were able to have fun and also how they met other people from other places.
Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale (religious)
One Artifact that would be important to better understand Florida's religious state would be Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale. This was one of the biggest churches in the world. This church happened to be a non-denomination church (meaning that everyone was welcomed). Due to this church being one of the biggest churches; we think that Florida was a non- denominational State.
